Nicely located away from the beaten track but still close to Gerardmer in the Vosges .The hotel has different remodeled rooms but not cheap and also small houses in the back, ideally for nature lovers, hikers, and bicycle trips . The restaurant has a limited choice but what they make is very good ; we ate the best foie gras ever! On the suggestions menu was mentioned; déclinaison de boeuf and it turned out to be Angus beef...they serve coffee; 'Blue mountain' but forgot to mention Jamaica Blue Mountain...one of the best coffees in the world...Amazing, underestimating thier own products . Wine card was average. Around 22.00pm the customers all hit the sack though...early birds I guess . One more thing; you have to pay half of the room when you arrive...strange and if you smoke in your room they will charge you 150 euro to clean the sheers/sheets etc.....Better be warned !
