Fantastic place! We stumbled upon this place after having cycled 70km in oppressive heat. We stopped for lunch, and thought we would try the 19,50€ lunch menu. We had no idea of the treat in store for us. The waitress was lovely and welcoming, and bought us a delicious amuse of deliciously fresh green hummus and toast. This was followed by the most amazing gazpacho of courgette and mint. On any day it would have been outstanding, but on a hot day it was a gift from the gods. Oliver the chef came out to talk to us, and his passion for flavour and love of his ingredients radiated from him. The balance of flavours in this subtle dish was incredible, it was so fresh and tasted of Provence. The dish made my husband emotional. Our expectations now high, we were not disappointed by our main of vegetarian lasagne, accompanied by a lentil side salad. I am a vegetarian, and this is by far the best meal I've had in France (and further afield). Again, the ingredients were superb and lovingly presented in a simple, yet subtle way. The meal was rounded off by a chocolate pot with accompanying fruits and coulis. The coulis was delicately flavoured with herbs of Provence that were a running motif throughout the meal. I cannot recommend this unassuming restaurant highly enough. It is well worth making a trip out of your way in summer or winter- Oliver the chef said that the seasonal menu reflects the vegetables available locally. The small staff were so wonderful and the whole experience was the highlight of our three week trip and we will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely meal!
