A traditional style with traditional food. Well cooked and friendly, helpful service. Prices were fair especially the wine. Not far from our hotel. Pleased I hadn't travelled a long way.

We arrived rather late but the staff kindly let us in. There was a party of French celebrating for Christmas next door in the private room. Our lovely waiters apologised for the "noise" but we were delighted to hear French rather than English accents and everyone was very friendly to us. Hubby had the foie gras which was made a la Maison and was very good. I had the halibut capaccio from the set menu followed by salmon with timbale rice and buttery (ooops) courgettes. Hubby had a very blue steak with frites and bearnais sauce, this food is bistro in style but good and much improved since our last visit. Trying to eat relatively low fat I had the blackcurrent sorbet which was delicious. I would never have recommended this restaurant before but there is a new chef and things have changed for the better. Service was good and personable.The restaurant itself us still rather brightly lit and, at 10: 30pm half of it was being set up for breakfast. With variable lighting in sections of the restaurant the atmosphere would be better but we still enjoyed it. Ps the bar closes at 11pm prompt :-)

Belle soirée de bonne qualité mais cuisine française simple. J'avais des colis de fromage de chèvre puis le meilleur canard que j'aie jamais eu. Jake avait du saumon gravelax qui était superbe et ensuite du jambon grillé qui était aussi très savoureux. Le service était informel mais efficace. Dans l'ensemble une expérience hautement recommandée

Installés à la va vite sans explication pour la prise de commande, service assez long. Nourriture correcte mais pour le sourire de serveuses, on repassera....ou pas!

As this appeared to be the only restaurant open for dinner in Abbeville on a Thursday night, we had little choice.Usually a fan of Chinese food, this was not a great example. Poor, mainly frozen, ingredients, mostly shop bought rather than home made, with so little flavour I had to steal a bottle of chilli sauce off another table that was left dirty for the whole time we were there.The staff were pleasant enough, but hardly attentive. Not only did I have to take seasoning into my own hands, but also getting some chopsticks from behind the bar.Weirdly, no background music either, which gave it a very tense atmosphere.

Après avoir visité la France, c'était agréable de visiter un bar où les prix étaient assez raisonnables. Quatre vins rosés, un panini et une quiche le tout pour 13,30 €. La nourriture était assez savoureuse même si le panini était bien cuit! ! Peu de bars ouvrent à Abbeville un jour.
